Exciting news! America’s biggest country music and camping festival just got even better. WE Fest 2018 will be using high tech, RFID-enabled wristbands to take your festival experience to the next level. Your WE Fest wristband will now be your admission ticket to enter the festival even faster – with just a quick tap of your wristband!
Whether you’re packing a tent, driving that big-wheel RV or shuttling over from your hotel, your entry to the 36th year of WE Fest will be the quickest ever!
Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify tags (or microchips) embedded within your wristband. The information is stored electronically, so your access to the music, exclusive VIP lounges and seating areas, and even camping, are all built in to your wristband. Now you can get to where you want to be fast – just tap your wristband and go!
Each admission ticket will receive an RFID wristband with camp access or without depending on what you purchased. Access to all reserved seating will be on the wristband, no laminates will be sent or used in 2018. All Camping vehicles and Weekend Parking purchased will recieve an RFID sticker to attach to their vehicle. All of these items will be mailed by the United States Postal Service. Please make sure your shipping address is accurate, if you have mulitple orders and move, each shipping order needs to be updated. Mail will start mid May.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR RFID WRISTBAND
DO NOT TRY ON YOUR WRISTBAND WHEN IT ARRIVES !!! - ONCE THE BAND IS ON, IT DOES NOT COME OFF!!
- You must scan your wristband “in” to enter the festival and you must scan “out” when you exit. You will also scan your wristband as you enter various areas throughout the festival.
- Only wristbands purchased from the official event website and ticketing partners are valid. Do not purchase wristbands from third parties.
- Treat your wristband like cash. It cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
- Wristbands are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and void if tampered with or removed.
- Your wristband should remain on your wrist throughout the festival. Do not remove your wristband until after the final day of the event.

- Q) DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING WITH MY WRISTBAND BEFORE THE FESTIVAL?
YES! Wristband registration is highly recommended for WE Fest 2018. Wristband registration will be available on the website closer to the event. Stay tuned.
Q) WHY SHOULD I REGISTER MY WRISTBAND ONLINE?
Wristband registration protects you in case you lose your wristband, it is stolen, it is damaged or it simply stops working. Only the person who registers their wristband or the original purchaser can be issued a replacement wristband. We won’t know it’s yours unless you register it.
- Q) WHAT IF I LOSE MY WRISTBAND? CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT?
If you lose your wristband before the start of the event, you will need to call the guest service office immediately. Monday - Friday 9am- 5pm. 800.493.3378. If you lose your wristband during the event, you will need to visit Customer Service inside the event grounds. There is a $25 fee and proof of purchase to replace any RFID band.
If you have registered your wristband online, we will be able to retrieve your information with the name and email address you provided upon registration along with a matching valid photo ID. At that point, we would deactivate your old wristband, and activate a new one for you. Replacement wristbands are subject to a replacement fee.
If you have NOT registered your wristband online, we may be able to retrieve your original ticket order. However, the original purchaser must be present with a matching valid photo ID in order to issue a new wristband to you. We would also need to know the UID number (longer set of digits found on the backside of the RFID saddle) of the lost wristband to deactivate it.
The festival is NOT responsible for lost or damaged wristbands. Play it safe and register your wristband before you arrive!
